Well firstly I’d love to wish everyone a Merry Christmas ! I hope you have a safe and fun filled day with family and friends .dekor-okno.ru My Christmas day will be with my family and close friends & this year I’m back home in Australia and happily sitting on the beach . Forced end to my 2013 season …

If you have read my previous post you would know that post Madrid I have been struggling with my feet . Although I had some nasty and random aches I just put it down to typical PF .  Week by week went by . I got more and more frustrated . I’d try the odd run in hope to be pain free . Back to Yorkshire…then onto,,,, Madrid ..Рудбекия In my last post I was on my way back from the States . I was happy to arrive back to Yorkshire and the country roads . I was determined to put in a good 4 weeks of consistent training  (after falling ill a few days prior to San Diego) –  before easing off the week of Madrid .   I won’t lie , my immune system seemed to take a battering as it took me a while to stop coughing from the illness I picked up in San Diego but I trained through it . Onto Madrid…… Well my history at this race had always...

Auckland WTS

Leading  into Auckland training went fairly smoothly . I went straight back into hard training . Maybe pushed a bit too much as  I ended up straining my calf on the track which meant 1 week of almost no running but it was essential  to rest it or it would be detrimental  long term . The older, wiser me was smart to  let it recover properly that week  and  I managed to get a good 10 days block- of training in thereafter – with  an opportunity to escape to the Gold Coast and train with good friends Michelle  & Stuey Hayes ,...
