I was born in Brisbane, however spent my early years in the bush in Central Qld on my family´s 20,000 acre property. A move to Brisbane as I was growing up was to ensure that my twin brother Geoff and I were given every opportunity for a good education and give us access to other facilities not available in the bush. However, I’m quite determined to return to the country one day, it’s where my heart is :)
 In 2005 I started on the ITU circuit and travelling the world doing what I enjoy most . I’ve had many ups and downs along the way to date, but have learned that’s just part of growing as an athlete .
If I’m not training I love to listen to music , explore new places , catch up with friends & party when there’s a reason to celebrate ;)
I love to train . I love to race . Every day I thank god how lucky I am to be  able to do what I do .
